Evening Sir, sorry about the late reply I took a break from the internet in a bid to get all my odd DIY jobs done around the house.
Yes UK laws are pretty intense/ludicrous . Below is a definition from the Metropolitan Police website and Its all hinged around 'perception' not intent which is very dangerous and easily exploited.
'A hate crime is defined as 'Any criminal offence which is perceived by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on a person's race or perceived race; religion or perceived religion; sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation; disability or perceived disability and any crime motivated by hostility or prejudice against a person who is transgender or perceived to be transgender.'
I spent time in the states as a boy yes as I've got Family in the South but I was a fat spoilt British kid so spent my time eating sweets and finding air conditioning units to hide under so didn't learn much bar what food I like (still haven't been able to find decent gumbo in the UK). Later on I came to appreciate your nations history through my family and studying history at Uni. I've got a huge love of American culture and especially the concept of being a freeborn man.
