West Papua cruelty will not be forgotten.

My city of Cairns has became home to many refugees from West Papua. The West Papuan people suffer under the oppression of the Indonesian military who invaded and occupy their country. Many involved in the resistance have been murdered while others have fled.

Cairns artists and the Cairns West Papuan community recently gathered for a concert in support of the resistance and to show solidarity with the people of West Papua. I was happy to support this and some of the pictures from the day appear below.
