It is not the first time that one of these spiders pass from the patio to the inside of the house, this day it had rained hard and I imagine that this is the cause, that forced this friend to reach me.
I must confess that this surprises, to the point of almost giving a corduroy jump! .. and more if it's night friends ..

This is a Goliath tarantula, or better called in Venezuela spider monkey, this is small considering that they can grow to more than 30 cm.
They inhabit jungle zones of Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana, French Guiana and northeastern Brazil.
