It is expected that 88 percent of families with children will bring their kids with them on vacation next year. Over half of these families spent $1,000 to $5,000 on travel for 2018. With that being said, it behooves businesses to offer special rates for younger travelers.
Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) is now offering children ages 11 and under the opportunity to fly for free when accompanied by a paying adult. To scoop us this deal, you have to book your tickets by 10 Dec 2018 and fly from the US to Scandinavia or Finland from 8 Jan to 2 Apr 2019.
Air Tahiti is also providing a similar promotion. Although, you will still have to pay taxes and fees though to travel from the US to Tahiti.
Cruiselines are also having these special "kids travel free" promotions to include MSC Cruises, Luxury Liner Crystal Cruises, and Royal Caribbeanare where guests can visit over 150 locations globally. During the winter season, children ages 11 and under traveling with two paying adults do not pay a cruise fare. For children 12 - 17 years, this deal is good only during low- and mid-travel seasons.
