TITLE: PAIN BEFORE LOVE (My real life story)

ABOUT THE NOVEL
The least thing Janet wants in her life is another false accusation or challenge. After much betrayal and heart break, she decided to move to a small town in New York, with her young daughter, although she hates the place, but what could she do if her daughter thinks is “cool”.
Here comes a gorgeous, rich, strong, passionate and loving Philip with such a quality no respecting woman could resist.

                                                                                               CHAPTER 1

Janet Milton woke with her heart pounding and her naked body drenched in sweat. What could have happened! She wondered. For the third night in a row she’d been dreaming, before she opened her eyes, she’d actually felt the ground under her feet.
Anxiously she lifted her head and stared down at the dead body, trying to recall what happened the previous night. The man on black and blue trousers lay flat in full blood, his neck conveying a mark where a knife was used to slit his throat. Janet Milton a 27 year old woman couldn’t think she could come to this certain point of betrayal in her life.
She vividly recalled being with her boyfriend Gibson in a night club, then she became weak and a little bit tipsy. Gibson offered to drive her to her house at a small town in Kansas, just hundred yards from the club. She picked up the phone and contacted the police. “Could this be real”, certainly, I hope isn’t. Phone rings, “Mummy, pick up your cell phone!” a female young voice shouted. On a first thought, Janet already knew that it was her daughter whom she left in her brother’s house before the incident. She staggered and reaches for her cell phone.
“Hey mummy, what happened, I have been calling you since last night but you weren’t picking up. Are you ok?” yep..mmm...m my daughter angel, when are you coming back? Janet said ignoring her daughter’s question. As she thought, answering her question or speaking at length with her shaky voice might probably bring suspicion; she always knew her daughter is quite a smart child. “But Mum!” shhhh....“Is okay my angel, Mummy is fine just tell me when your uncle is bringing you to the house.” Janet uttered. “Okay Mummy, Uncle said.....,” Janet immediately dropped the call as she heard the sound of siren. She knew that the police have arrived.
