A newly married couple were walking along a garden and suddenly, a dog ran into them. The couple knew that the dog would bite them by the way it was barking at them aggressively. The husband, knowing that his wife couldn't run very fast preferred to lift up his wife and let the dog bite him rather than his sweetheart. The dog instead stopped before them, barked a little while and ran away. Then the husband put his wife down and expect a hug, kiss and kind words of gratitude from her. But Instead, his wife shouted; "I have seen people throwing stones and objects at dogs, this is the first time I am seeing a man trying to throw his wife at a barking dog"
NOTE:
Most often, people you try to help can misunderstand your good intentions and as result blame your effort. In many cases, we sacrifice our safety by endangering our lives to protect or satisfy some people in our lives, yet many of such people may neither recognize nor appreciate our good intentions. I encourage you to keep doing good to others without expecting anything. God will surely reward your kind deeds, provided you don't give up. Galatians 6:9 says "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up"
I Wish You A Great Week!
