When you were born, you started from scratch - ground zero if you will.
You were a clean slate. You didn't know baggage, hate, racism, criticism or religions. These man-made concepts were not part of your reality and the reason for that is very simple - we, humans, created this ideas.
Wait a minute...
So you're saying that somebody had to teach me that?
Yep, now you're riding my wave; but there is more to it though.
The next question is - who thought you that?
I assume that for all of us the main influence came from our families, our friends and our country. Our environment shaped the way we are today and we didn't have a 'say' about it. It was a given for us.
Our name? given to us. Our language? given to us. Our religion? given to us. The culture and the mentality around us? given to us. The country and the life in it? not our decision either.
If this little baby that we used to be was placed in a different place, we would have been a different person.
My point is that we are fighting for our belief system, arguing for our subjective and biased opinion and none of us is asking themselves: "Is this is even true?". This world is fighting for so many idiologies when all of them are really so fregile.
Most of what we think that we "know" is not even our opinion; somebody had to teach us and sell this idea on us.
So... do you see the problem?
I took some time to think about it and I found that it goes even deeper than that.
If what people thought me isn't really my opinion, that means I don't really know anything. The thing is, that the poeple around us used to be babies too. They used to know nothing as well and someone had to teach them. Their teachers were newborns as well, so we can't even rely on their opinions. The entire structure of humanity is based on people selling "their" philosophy to the next generations without even questioning it's validity in reality.
So for us there is nothing much to do in order to change the nature of the masses, that is how it will probably be forever. We were born into division and separation. We were born into a global conflict. We were born into a broken world where people are hurting. This world is the way it is because we got lost while trying to find answers.
The only way for you to find answers, is to start asking questions. My moto is: if you want to know anything, question everything. I believe that the only way for us to really get who we are is to let go of this world, of the "earthly" things. Only when you get rid of the man-made aspects of your character (things that aren't natuarl but were given to you), that's when you'll be able to see how God made you.
I am on a journey of detaching myself from this world in order to see the image in which God made me. You are more than welcome to join me!
I hope that I made you think and thank you for investing your most valuable asset - your time.
