Is the man the head of the family?
I asked a friend of mine, and her response was shocking,she said a man can only be the head if she provides for the family,and when asked what if the man list his job and he is unable to fend for his family, her reply was that "the man cease to be the head who ever brings food to the table has taken that title including the responsibility."

I was baffled as she is a married woman with two kids. And I wondered how her husband will feel if he is opportune to hear this.
It is saddening that we allow what we see on media print, television, social media etc to change the way we do things.
It has been so bad that it has began to break the very fabric of society.
From my perspective weather the man has a job or not, he is still the head of the family, Some people just attached financial capabilities as the only factor that makes the man head ,A man is also there to protect and guide the family.
This does not mean that the man should sit down and allow the woman to carry the responsibility , I am referring to a situation were the man is incapable of supporting the family and he is putting in effort.
It takes two to tangle,and both parties should join resources and help each other
