Expiration Date
You wake up in the middle of the night you open the fridge and you pour yourself a tall glass of milk.
You reach down pick up your glass and your mind is going this is going to be so refreshing so nice. The opposite happens it's all nasty sour oh yuck you spit it out.
You immediately look at the experation date this milk is 9 weeks past its expired date. You think how did this happen? Wasnt I paying attention? Obviously not at all the family told me the milk was all good no problems.
Just like Milk we've been told by so called gurus that the bond notes we hold will expire. Let me say this that's BS not even happening the way they talk about.
Yes actual bonds have term lengths and the time does end but even after 30 years my Grandfather took in his bonds and was paid I know this for a fact. Do the bonds have an experation date on them ? No!
What we hold are Bearer bonds
A bearer bond is a bond or debt security issued by a business entity such as a corporation, or a government.
As a bearer instrument, it differs from the more common types of investment securities in that it is unregistered—no records are kept of the owner, or the transactions involving ownership.
Whoever physically holds the paper on which the bond is issued is the presumptive owner of the instrument. This is useful for investors who wish to retain anonymity.
Recovery of the value of a bearer bond in the event of its loss, theft, or destruction is usually impossible. Some relief is possible in the case of United States public debt.
If your bonds are misplaced anyone can exchange them because it's designed as a debt instrument . This is why it's very important for you to not send off your bonds to parties that you honestly know nothing about.
But back to rumors of of our bonds expiring that's total hogwash nonsense fear porn .

Hereunder is RBZ’s pronouncements:
a) “Direct banks to transfer to the reserve bank the RTGS$ ZWL$ that they are holding as counterpart funds for the foreign currency historical or legacy debt that Government through the reserve bank is assuming at the rate of 1.1 between the RTGS$ and the US$. This measure is expected to mop around ZW$1.2 billion from the market by the end of this week.
b) Adjust the interest rate on the Reserve Bank overnight window upwards from the current 15% per annum to 50% per annum in line with inflation trends.
c) Remove administration limits on the operation of bureaux de change and on the cap on margins for banks for interbank foreign exchange transactions.
d) Put a vesting period of 90 days on disposal of dual listed securities or shares purchased by investors on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.
e) Increase supply of foreign currency into interbank foreign market by ensuring at least 50% of the surrender portion of foreign currency is sold to the interbank market.
This will be supplemented by the use of Letters of Credit (LCs) for the importation of essential commodities that include fuel, cooking oil and wheat. The bank has put in place LCs amounting to US$ 330 million for these purposes.

Now just because some so called Guru says it that doesn't mean that its fact.
Do some digging do your own research. There is no immediate experation date on our bond notes like the rumor fear porn gurus talk about.
The time for change is now the crazy circus train ride is very close to its docking station.

With that being said let's all hope for the best plan for the worst and let's most of all hang on for dear life. Of course like always these are my thoughts only .
