Welcome to part 2! The journey continues..
In Part 1 I talked about the beginning of the year, engagement, different countries, and marriage. Here's the rest of the years events in summary!
After our Honeymoon we arrived back at the house and everyone went in full packing frenzy. My wife and I were planning to return to the states and her parents surprised (if we're being honest, completely shocked lol) everyone with a trip to Disney World! It was my first time, and my wife's third time. We were there for 8 days, did each park twice, and stayed at a rental house that had an awesome pool and clubhouse. I loved experiencing Disney with @alovelymess and everyone, but next time going to the parks once will be good for me. Haha!
After Disney we took a road trip with @rigaronib and @uglysweater back to our home state, Tennessee. It was SO nice being there again. Showing @alovelymess my favorite places, where I lived, everything! Even though we were married when we left Chile, we went ahead and did it again in Tennessee for future ease of things. That's right, double married! We even had a wedding reception with some friends and family! Oh! And when the Solar Eclipse happened, we watched it with 100% totality. I could go on and on about the fun we had there! Then around the end of July our older siblings and nephew headed to Idaho to be with the rest of her family there. We stayed behind in Tennessee.
We planned a trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg with my parents in August, so we drove separately to our hotel which was a few hours away. I had been there a few times as a kid with the family, but I don't think my wife had ever been. We went to a place called "The Island" where I was able to test taste Tennessee Moonshine, and they had a lot of different shops. We also went to the top of the space needle in Gatlinburg! It was a little different because a lot of it had burned due to wildfires in the area. Still, it was a lot of fun!
We decided we wanted to spend Winter in Idaho, and be there for our niece being born. We sold everything and decided to come here to be with everyone else. We arrived in September and have been going nonstop since. We've went out on 4 wheelers, been to multiple cities/towns, and we're currently at Schweitzer Ski Resort in 2 feet of snow where I am typing this.
