5. Is there any area of that you are ignorant about?
Most things happen for a reason. Since we may be ignorant about our flaws, we may need external help to expose the secret. Do not hesitate to ask for feedback from the right people concerning your actions and attitude in your relationship. You do not necessarily have to be so obvious of who did what. You could present it in a way that will make the listener to not have the impression that you are talking about yourself. For instance, you could say that your friend is experiencing hard times and would love to seek their opinions so that you can relate it to your friend. It is important you take such approach especially if you are seeking the opinion of someone like your father, who has the tendency to be biased towards showing you favour. Having at least two people to seek advice from is a safe way to tackle the issue. If their view points do not align, then an additional opinion will be useful to take a side. Don’t be scared to ask for advice because most people you meet for advice feel honoured that you considered them worthy of giving you advice. We should be able to take feedback, and use this to improve ourselves. Remember that in the multitude of counsel, there is safety. We are not just social creatures, but we are also living beings that have to be stronger, and work smarter so that we can advance intellectually and emotionally.
These are the five qestions to ask yourself before considering a breakup. However, one should be able to know when he/she is at risk of his/her own life in any relationship. A broken relationship is better than getting married to the wrong person.
Thanks for your precious time.
