I haven't written anything in a little over a week. I had taken my daughter to a neuro-ophthalmologist in Charleston, SC. It is approximately a 4 hour drive from my daughter's home.
My right foot and the back of my right thigh cramped for almost a week. At first I thought the indoor pool at the hotel was too cool, if that had been the case both legs would have cramped. I don't feel comfortable using cruise control in my truck or any other vehicle. I know my reaction time and my hand/eye coordination is not what it used to be.
The day after I returned home from Charleston, my 5 year old granddaughter (she is ADHD and not on medication during the summer) came to stay with me for 4 days. No rest for the weary.
My granddaughter went home on Monday. Her mother has taken on a second job as a pharmacy tech at the local hospital, so the 3 of them (my 2 granddaughters and their mother) can take a special trip to New York City for Christmas.
I went to my granddaughter's on Tuesday to help with her. She attends daycare, so I had my days free. I live with my son, his wife and their children. He is a newlywed and he brought a son the marriage, his wife brought 2 daughters. I feel every bit of tension and stress in the household. The stress and tension only serves to makes my MS symptoms worse.
My 8 year old grandson (also ADHD, but on medication daily) went with me to visit his cousins. On the way, we stopped at the local park so he could hunt for rocks for #camprocks4kids. He found 12 painted rocks. We posted them on the local Facebook group site and decided to hide them in the community where my granddaughters live.
They searched for rocks on Wednesday (he forgot to bring along the rocks he wanted to hide). They found some more rocks. The grandchildren were having a lot of fun. A nice time for considering their ages range 15-5 years.
Thursday, I drove the grandchildren to various parks so they hunt for rocks and hide the ones they had found the day before. They also decided to plck up about 2 dozen rocks to paint themselves. Thursday afternoon they started painting their rocks.
The 15 year old and the 8 year old cousins laughed so much. I was in agony as I sat in that hard kitchen chair, but I would never let them in on my secret.
Friday morning, the little artists were excited to get going ang hide their newly painted rocks! All this grandma wanted to do at this point was rest. LOL. I drove them to various parks around the community and they hid their newest creations.
Friday afternoon, I pick the 5 year old up from daycare and head towards home. She is staying with me for the weekend. The 8 year old and I had packed the car before we picked her up. I was very happy to get home to MY bed.

This horrible heat and humidity a has me feeling drained with sharp, stabbing pains all over. I am looking forward to staying in my room most of the weekend. Thank you for allowing me to bore you.
