Global Monetary System

We are in very strange times in that the entire global monetary system (fiat) is in it's final death throws before imminent complete collapse with 50% of the US$ (global reserve currency) having being 'printed' in the last two years! - no wonder we are seeing hyper inflation. There is now a war on digital currencies between Central Banks (to carry on their 'control' with CBDC's) and the truly decentralized crypto we the people control/own without a middle man. I believe that crypto will have a mighty roll in whatever eventually results and privacy will be king ultimately, hence my interest in privacy projects. But that's not to say the likes of established Bitcoin etc will not feature prominently too. What I do wonder however, is currently all crypto is 'valued' in US$'s, but as that is essentially worthless now due to the amount of money printing, what will crypto's 'value' be priced in, in the future? - Personally, my main portfolio is in precious metals (gold) and approx 20% held in Btc and a little Hive too to hedge my bets - but something rather spectacular is going to result out of all this current turbulence in the markets and I don't think that will ultimately be a bad thing - just my thoughts!
