Yeah, I've sat in traffic court and watched dozens of hopeful people have their hopes crushed.
They thought they had valid excuses.
They admitted doing what they were charged with, then were shocked when the court didn't accept their excuses.
The da's office told me they don't do discovery in traffic tickets.
That is a violation of the 6th amendment.
It is a valid appeal issue, if you know how to get into the appeals court.
They didn't have any choice but to drop the charges or expose themselves to a due process violation lawsuit.
I can't wait to do this again.
If their policy is to not do discovery, then all I got to do is ask for it, again.
Think of all the cases, with paid for lawyers, that the lawyer tells them to take the deal, when all that has to be done is ask for discovery.
It's a racket.
