The automotive recall is possibly one of the biggest banes of the automotive industry. But be it the recent recall with the Maruti Suzuki Swift or the massive recall by BMW, recalls have become a part of the industry and in a way are a good thing. And it doesn't matter how affordable or expensive your car is, sometimes, a recall is inevitable. Like with Lamborghini and its $2 Million plus hypercar, the ultra race Centenario. And as if the recall was not enough, the reason for the recall will most likely leave you in splits. Read on to know more...!The Lamborghini Centenario was made to celebrate Ferrucio Lamborghini - the company founder's 100th birthday. Built in very small numbers, 20 coupes and 20 roadsters, with a price tag of $1.9 Million or $2.4 Million respectively - and that is without options - the Centenario is the king of the hill when it comes to bespoke roadgoing Lamborghinis. And the reason for its recall? A sticker. According to the United States Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a small safety label that has a slightly incorrect gross weight of the vehicle is worthy of a 'recall'. And considering how rare these cars are, the recall has affected 11 vehicles.

Lamborghini dealers in the United States have announced that they have already notified the owners of these 11 cars and the process to bring them back to the service centre to replace these stickers has been initiated. The supercar maker has also announced that these recalls will be free of cost. They better be, after all, the car does cost as much as a house in South Mumbai! Sadly, we don't have a picture of that sticker yet, but rest assured, once we do, we shall most certainly doing a follow up piece on what could only be described as the most hilarious automotive recall of all time.
