Identities of the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

Identities of the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil appear in Genesis 2 ~ 3. What components are each of these two trees made of?

It is said, eating from the tree of life leads to eternal life and eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil leads to death (refer to Gn 3:22, Gn 2:17). God commanded Adam, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.”

These two trees were in the middle of the Garden of Eden. The serpent, a created being, said to Eve, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from the tree that is in the middle of the garden’?” (Gn 3). The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” The serpent said to the woman, “You will not certainly die. For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

Adam and Eve, who ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, were banished from the Garden of Eden, died and returned to dust. From this, we can perceive that the word of God is the truth and the words of serpent are lies, the words of deception. What are the identities and characteristics of these two trees?

Adam and Eve, who ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, were thrown out of the Garden of Eden in order to prevent them from living forever by eating from the tree of life. Likewise, eating the fruit from this tree of life gives eternal life. Furthermore, in Revelation 2, the one who overcomes is given the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

According to Revelation 22, the tree of life in the holy city bears twelve crops of fruit, and its leaves have the ability to heal all nations. And those who wash their robes may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

In the past, these two trees were in the middle of the Garden of Eden. However, today we can find the tree of life in the holy city of Revelation, which is the paradise. There is no tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the holy city, where the tree of life is.

In Isaiah 5, God planted his vineyard with the choicest vines, but it yielded only bad fruit. He called these wild vines the people of Israel. The grapes of the rock of the enemy (pastor of the devil) are the fruit from the field of Sodom and Gomorrah. Their grapes are filled with poison, and their clusters with bitterness. Their wine is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras (Dt 32:33). This is the wine of the wild serpent, the venom of serpents and deadly poison of cobras, that deceived Eve.

In Revelation 17 and 18, the kings of the earth and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of adulteries of the prostitute who is the pastor of the dragon and all nations have fallen. Have you seen this? Do you know this? And do you know this era, this place, and these entities?

Jesus, who was sent by God, opened his mouth in parables and uttered things that were hidden since creation. He also promised before he left that a time was coming when he would no longer use figurative language, but would speak plainly about his father (Jn 16:25). This means that until that promised time comes, there is no one who can know the things that were hidden. But when the time comes, all the hidden things would be made known plainly. Now if the one who has seen and heard these things comes and tells you the reality of the things that were hidden in parables, would you believe it?

It is written in Proverbs 3:18 that wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and Proverbs 13:12 says that a longing fulfilled is a tree of life, and Proverbs 15:4 writes that the tongue that brings healing is a tree of life. This tree of life describes a person who is complete and perfect.

In Matthew 13, Jesus spoke in a parable saying that the kingdom of heaven is like a small seed that is planted which grows to become a large tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches. In John 15, Jesus, who was life, referred to himself as the true vine and the 12 disciples as the branches. He said that the branches attached to the tree would bear much fruit.

Daniel 2 and 4, on the other hand, said that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, the kingdom of the demons, was a great tree that was fruitful, and that birds came and nestled on this tree. Through this, we can see God, who is life, and the person who has life are figuratively referred to the tree of life. However, the doctrines of the dragon, the snake that is the enemy, and the pastors belonging to him, are the venom of serpents and deadly poison of cobras. They are also known as the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that is the wine of adulteries (Rv 17-18).

The two kinds of trees in Genesis 2 ~ 3, and the two kinds of grapes (choice vines and wild vines) in Isaiah 5 are both referring to the organization of good and evil. The wine of adulteries (vine) of the group of the dragon in Revelation 17 ~ 18, and the wild wine (wild vine) of the enemy, which was the venom of serpents and deadly poison of cobras, are referring to the evil organization. Furthermore, the two entities (pastors) of good and evil in John 15 and Daniel 4 - spoke of themselves (Jesus and Nebuchadnezzar). These two trees are the two trees from Eden; the tree of life (God) and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (dragon, serpent, Satan, devil). They represent the organizations of good and evil.

Therefore, these organizations are compared as two kinds of trees. The tree of life, which appears in Revelation, bears twelve crops of fruit every month and its leaves are for the healing of all nations. The other is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Dn 4), the prostitute who is the pastor of Babylon and caused all nations to fall with the wine of her adulteries. She receives judgment in Revelation 18 and comes to an end along with the dragon, who is the serpent. Only the tree of life (Jesus and his pastor) can be seen in Revelation 22.

The person who recorded these words saw the two entities, the two kinds of trees, received the explanation, and was sent to make this known to the churches. Those who do not believe and oppose like during Jesus’ First Coming will not receive salvation, while those who believe will receive salvation. The Bible and the 6,000 years of God’s work are the events that occurred because of these two trees. Upon resolving this, God will come and reign.

During this time when one era passes away and a new era is created as in the days of Noah, we must go to the pastor that is promised in the Bible. Those who live a life of faith outside the Bible must come inside the word and carry out a true walk of faith to become God’s promised kingdom and people (Rv 5:9-10). Amen.
