🌞 What I Would Do With a 700SP Delegation For A Month!

I am writing this as an Entry for the #KarenSueContest!

In celebration of @karensuestudios having reached 3500 followers on #Steemit @karensuestudios is running a contest for five 700 SP delegations. To enter this contest you have to answer the question "What would I do with the delegation?"

I have not really put a lot of thought into this sort of thing previously, because I have just been of the mindset that I would work my way up to having that sort of SP at my own pace!

If I were to win a delegation of that size I would of course support the things that matter to me! When I look at the world I see several key areas that I feel I can help to improve. Many of them would need a decent size audience to have the most impact! So I would first, keeping the topics I view to be of utmost importance in my mind, set out to find more people that
have the same interests! People who are also publishing works demonstrating that they are actively working on solutions that they have found for the issues that I feel are vital to address! I already do this as much as I have time to. Having some more SP would allow me to spend a little more time doing so!

I have, to date been dividing my time between actively working on creating solutions, and implementing them in real world scenarios to the best of my ability, while also juggling meeting 'my community' here on the Steemit Platform, as well as beginning to publish quality work which relates to, and can hopefully generate interest in said topics! This is a steep hill to climb for sure! @karensuestudios has told her story about her beginnings here on Steemit, which gives me much encouragement to keep on keeping on!

What are the Issues I would continue working to bring solutions forward for, while using my newly found super powers to also help others promote via my curation efforts?

I feel that many people see a lot of problems in this world at this time. One that I feel is important is the environment. Whether you are a "Climate Changer" or "Climate Change Denier" one thing that I feel everyone should care about is the environment, because without clean water, without clean air, without plants and wildlife, we would cease to exist in this world! It's really that simple. Being divided over the politicized aspects of this is a waste of time in my opinion. So rather than argue, I feel it is good to set an example by doing the things I can do to work towards a healthy Earth Ecosystem.

... This is one reason why I am presently working on creating a Permaculture Food Forest! Permaculture is a whole systems approach to encouraging the natural functions of the ecosystem to work for humans and wildlife in creating clean healthy nutrient dense food sources. It's observing how nature functions and mimicking it within a semi controlled "garden" with many layers of canopy that all serves an important role in a healthy functioning forest system! While doing so I am working on sharing the things I learn along the way so that people will become interested in caring for the environment without having it remain in the sphere of political ideology!

My Permaculture Project came about as the result of a need for healthy clean food for my family and myself! I know from personal experience how healing it can be to eat healthy nutrient dense whole foods! Foods that have low food mileage are also better for the environment!

I have incorporated chickens and guinea fowl into this project as a means of generating healthy compost, reducing pests, and producing organic eggs from hens that are loved instead of tortured! (While also respecting the baby boy chickens which in industrial farming operations are usually killed in horrific ways as soon as they are hatched. I have not eaten any and I don't know as I could... I love the silly things! My plan is to let them be happy, thus raising the vibration of the chicken species! :) I know that probably sounds funny! Lol! I intend to share my experiences as I have learned a lot about this topic in the past year and will continue to do so I'm sure! I intend to make some how to, or day in the life videos showing people who may not know what this is like!

Another aspect of my work is also largely connected to nature which is my art, design, photography. I was headed for a commercial art career after graduating from one of the more well known art institutes with an Undergraduate Degree. I did not want to add to the problems I saw in the world by manipulating people into purchasing things that they didn't need which would ultimately contribute to further pollution of the environment and likely not add a lot of value to the world we will be leaving for the children! So I have chosen to do things in a freelance manner while multitasking instead! I want to create art, not trash for the landfill! Much of my art is focused on or inspired by various aspects of the natural world. This is because it inspires me! It is also my hope that by creating beautiful work that is nature centered, it will help others to reconnect to or gain new appreciation for the natural world! Then maybe they will care more for the environment for real reasons, and not because of some propaganda with a spin on it! I also enjoy creating pieces with a healing energy to them!

Now, I've mentioned the world we will be leaving for the children... so what about the children? Most all of this has been for the children... yet many people do not know of the true struggles on behalf of the children of this world! So much of what we see is controlled and does not reflect the every day experiences of the children in any country! There are many people struggling to protect their children, and their rights to protect their own children... I know this from personal experience in the not too distant past. I would also use my SP Delegation to curate posts that I feel will actually benefit the children, whether they be starving in a 'lesser developed' nation, or being harmed by powerful factions in the 'developed countries'.

Obviously there are many other related subjects which I might happen across and feel it appropriate to give a little boost to those as well! The truth is I could go on all day, but I would do my best to make every day of that month count, and not waste it! If I were to grow my own platform and resources as a result of my efforts, then that is even better because the resources should be going to projects which are actively building a better way, and that is what I am trying to do to set an example, and teach others, while also learning from them... Like the homesteading community and their materials! I have never been a farmer so I find great value in the knowledge of others!!! For this I would also vote accordingly! If someone is doing a lot of valuable work in an area that I am not involved with personally, I would also do my best to support them!

I would be ever so grateful to receive the ability to actually focus on these aspects of my ventures rather than feeling such a need to build up steem to gain an audience first! I love entering contests (I've entered a handful!) and participating and meeting people, but it would be nice to be able to support the people helping others for a while at the same time working on what I really feel passionate about which is why I joined. Making money to live on is awesome, and I like that too! However, I've had a little, and had a lot, and I won't be controlled or driven by money alone as it cannot leave this world with me when I leave. Hopefully what I help to co-create in the way of a better world for others will one day be more valuable than money! ;)

That is what I would do! :)

I have very much enjoyed the opportunity to participate in this contest, if nothing else maybe I'll meet more people that are interested in the same things!

Blessings!
