Hey Steemians!
I attended the @steem-dublin meetup last night in Crypto Cafe, here in Dublin. The meetup has become a regular monthly thing now, and there were a record 19 attendees last night, so things are going in the right direction here.
Crypto Cafe, if you haven't heard is Irelands first cryptocurrency orientated cafe. They will soon be accepting payments via Litecoin and Ethereum, with more added in the future. They've even set up a Steemit account, so go check them out: @cryptocafedublin
In case you can't read it from the photo, the sign outside the cafe says:
My husband is rich in BITCOINS, but when he dies, I won't know how to spend it all.. Grab a coffee. We'll teach you how!
The people running the cafe are really friendly and good fun. Definitely a cafe worth checking out next time you're in Dublin. The make amazing brownies too.
Demotruk and @eroche were on hand to answer anyones Steemit or crypto related questions, of which there were plenty. There was a mixed bunch, from seasoned Steemit users, to those who were new to crypto itself.
That's @lukakorba, above, wearing yellow. Without doubt, the smartest 18 year old I've ever met, and a super nice guy too. Check out his page. He's a poet!
One of the attendies tells @beanz how high he thinks Steem could go.
After we filled up on coffee, crypto and cake, we went into Capital Lounge, just down the road, where @eroche had managed to reserve us some seating. The camera went into the bag then. As they say, "What happens in Capital stays in Capital."
Everyone seemed to have a great night, and I can safely say, the Irish Steem community has never been as healthy. Onwards and upwards!
EDIT - Thanks by the way to @beanz who took some of the pictures from her vantage point!
