Does anyone know how you clear out all the old pictures and stuff?

I'm new and everything looks funny? Not like Facebook or Instagram or Twitter like I'm used to. Since just starred out there must be a new way to delete the old posts since my friend told me Steemit.com is centralized, where is the button for that?
