Discovering the world of blogger
Hello, Hivers! My name is Czarry Claire, and I am 15 years old from Cebu, Philippines. I was born on May 13, 2008, at Cebu Doctor’s Hospital, Cebu City. I almost died during my mother’s delivery because she was rushed to the hospital due to heavy bleeding. That is why she was admitted to the cesarean section for an operation. Thanks God! I am here survived. We are two siblings in the family and I am the elder.
As a Sister
Having a sister will not get you bored because she captivates everyone's attention. I was six years old when my sister was born. Being the elder, it is my responsibility to take care of my sister and do the household work since both of our parents are busy. Me and my sister are very close. That is why we always have each other’s back.
Things that we both enjoy together are traveling, cooking, crafting, and more. The main point of having a good relationship with your sibling is to be respectful, and open-minded, and to make an effort to compromise. This is the reason why both of us rarely fight because we have a good relationship and we know it is a waste of time to argue about useless stuff. For instance, if I have a lot of gifts given by my aunts and uncles, I always give or share some of them with my sister so that she will not feel upset because I believe both of us should be treated fairly. So, having a good relationship with your sister is a very important thing because it strengthens both your material and emotional support in avoiding loneliness and depression.
My Parents
Some of our family may not be very expressive with each other, but deeply we know that they care for us. That is why even if my parents are not perfect, we are still happy that we are all still living together under the same roof.
My mother has always been supportive of me and I am grateful for that. She always helps me no matter what will happen. I also have a loving father. He is strict, but I know he just wants to protect and discipline us for our good.
Moreover, kids these days do not like when their parents intervene in their lives, but always remember the reason why they are sometimes strict, it is for their kids' own sake. Our parents are our guardians, when something happens to us. They will be the ones to take responsibility.
My family is also very tight on us, but we know why they are like that because they just want to protect me and my sister from harmful things. Sometimes, there are instances when we are not allowed to go out with our friends unless it is not our curfew time. I understand my family why they are protective of us. That is why as their kids we should follow and obey their rules to prevent ourselves from bad and harmful things.
My Hobbies & Interests
Doing the things you love is a very important way to relieve boredom and stress. Your hobbies and interests differentiate you from others because it is one aspect of a person's personality, either your likes and dislikes, skills, and abilities. For me, writing, singing, and dancing are my hobbies. Knowing the things you love helps you escape from the real world, making you forget your worries. In addition, your hobbies and interests will cultivate your creativity and enhance coordination.
Personally, just like my passion for doing the things, I have different interests. In this way, doing what I love makes me feel happy and helps me to take a load off. For example, when I have free time, I write in my journal. I also sing and listen to music when I feel stressed. Sometimes I dance when I am sad to forget the bad things that happened to me. I am more happy through the things I love. For that reason, activities you do not have an interest in will not make you satisfied nor we will enjoy. That is why it is important to know the things you are passionate about. To summarize, my hobbies and interests are the stuff I desire or things I like to do.
The reason why I joined Hive
I was intrigued when I heard about Hive and how it works. As a Gen Z, one of our favorite things to do is to post about matters of our lifestyle on social media, whether it be about things, travels, or food. That's why I can say that in this generation adults or kids are always on their phones.
It has always been my dream to blog, so when I heard there was an orientation about this platform at Caduawan Elementary School, which was initiated by @naymhapz, I immediately went with my mother. I am grateful to sir @kimybanez26, @indayclara and sir @intoy.bugoy for sharing their knowledge to us about Hive.
I can say that blogging is open to all ages. For me, no matter how old or young you are if it is your passion to write, as long as you want to inspire and motivate others, then go with it. And because I want to try blogging, share my happenings through this platform, and be able to improve my writing skills. However, there might be people who hinder you and make you feel insecure just because you are still not an adult. They are doubting how can you possibly be an inspirational blogger at a young age.
Always remember that there is no age limit on blogging, as a teen I am hoping to be a successful blogger. Lastly, to end this, please look forward to my future blog.
