In New York, Bill DeBlasio is currently referred to a Comrade Big Bird. His announcement that he intends to run for president was met with mixed reviews in New York City.
Many citizens were delighted by anything that would get big Bird out of our city.
Presumably the city’s homeless who are about big Birds only fans might be disappointed, but they do not vote.
Governor Cuomo hates Big Bird. Cuomo and Big Bird fight constantly, and about everything.
The Disastrous Duo blame each other for disastrous management of the subways, the inability to get busses to run on time and the filth and grime everywhere in the city.
The Ny City housing authority housing is so bad, that the feds are threatening to take over the Authority’s buildings.
And then there is the social disasters.
New York City operates several elite, prestigious high schools, namely:
The Bronx High School for Science
Stuyvesant High School, and
Brooklyn Tech
DeBlasio claims that the test to get into those premier schools must be abolished, because Di Blasio’s favorite minorities are in the minority of those passing the test, with Orientals and Caucasians doing better than DeBlasio’s constituents.
[Brief interlude: my posts are being arbitrarily downvoted by a user named iflagtrash. iflagtrash never explains why he or she believes it is necessary to flag my posts. Nor does this user explain who elected this iflagtrash as the content God. If iflagtrash comments on this article with another auto-comment, "I flag trash. You have received a flag" then we will know it's just a lazy user trying to profit by disparaging--without any explanation or justification--the work of others by creating a bot. ]
Comrade Big Bird has therefore proposed a plan which we call “Equality for Dummies.”
Rather than focusing on assuring that all local grade schools are providing quality education, Big Bird would prefer to see that dummies have an equal opportunity to get into premier high schools based on race, rather than the content of the applicant’s mind.
Didn’t we wage a war against racism, and did not Martin Luther King die to end racism? We guess that Big Bird never learned about those things.
It is said that that mayor’s day consists of him rolling out of bed in Gracie Mansion then tacking his city operated motorcade to a gym in Brooklyn for his morning workout, thereafter sleeping at his desk in City hall for his nap, with newspapers covering his head so that other might not notice that he is sleeping
And he wants to bring this to our nation’s capital?
