These publications do not seek to pity or speak badly of Venezuela, I want to share with anyone who is interested and concerned about what is happening in Venezuela and to be able to bring you this information that will give you a clearer perspective of what it means to be Venezuelan and how people live in a country in crisis.
I want to thank my good friends @derangedvisions, @pankso, @cendrinemedia, @erodedthoughts, for being aware of the Venezuelan community that lives in this magnificent community, Many Thanks for the constant support.
A few days ago I had a conversation with several friends about the current situation in Venezuela and the news that there could be a war in our country.
For a few weeks, images and videos have been leaked on social networks about the concentration of approximately 4000 or 5000 American stocks in Colombian territory, with the aim of entering Venezuela and removing President Nicolás Maduro from power, since for more than 7 days was sworn in as the new president Juan Guaidó who was part of the old national assembly.
Nicolás Maduro, is not the legitimate president of Venezuela because according to our constitution the president-elect must be sworn in before the national assembly or before the supreme court of justice, Nicolás Maduro does not swear to either of these two bodies.
So this leaves the legitimate president to Juan Guaidó who has received the support of European countries, Latin America and the United States, these countries reject Nicolás Maduro as President of Venezuela.
The news that is currently going around the world and that has thousands of Venezuelans worried and very afraid, is the possible military intervention of US soldiers into Venezuelan territory.
This news is not to the liking of the Venezuelan who fears that something terrible may happen, it is not that we do not want to intervene and take the corrupt and murderous president of Venezuela out of power, it is that a military intervention of the United States can arrive to levels where thousands of Venezuelans can die and lose their human rights.
The Venezuelan wants to get out of this crisis and that Nicolás Maduro hands over the presidency of Venezuela for good, we want freedom but we do not want millions of people, including children, to have to die for this to happen, as a father I am afraid that this will come out of hands and a tragedy that can not be controlled.
I want the freedom of my country, but I say NO to a military intervention that ends up killing innocent people, I want us to be aware and see that this is not the right way out, the countries of the world can help Venezuela in another way and should help to that in Venezuela there is NO military intervention.
I ask God that this does not happen and that Nicolás Maduro will touch his heart and hand over the presidency and avoid a tragedy for the people of Venezuela.
