Pani Puri is a popular street food all over India. It consists of a round, brown, hollow puri, fried crisp and filled with a mixture of spicy and tangy water (paani ). It is also known as Gol gappe, puchka, pani ka pataasha, gup chup, tikki, phulki, pakodi. The world of Indian street food is famous, vast, diverse, and delicious, but pani puri is the โ€œQueen.โ€

A very small, unassuming, crispy hollow ball of fried dough, filled with potato and dunked into spicy and tangy jal jeera and meethi chutney or ketchup. The Pani Puri originated from the Magadha region of India, present day South Bihar where it is also known as phulki. It is common sight to see the friends share the golgappa from a single plate which makes them feel bonded together. Personally, I love pani puris๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ and can't live without it!๐Ÿ˜…
