More than a dozen people were injured this morning after a seven-alarm fire ripped through a furniture store and apartment building in the Bronx, authorities said.
The fire broke out at the four-story building in the Van Nest neighborhood at around 5.30am local time.
More than 200 firefighters battled the blaze for more than two hours in freezing cold temperatures of 15F (-9C).

'I woke up my husband, my kids and said listen there's a fire in the building,' the woman told ABC 13. 'By the time we opened the door in the hallway, there was black smoke.'
