I suggest you remake your introduction post and make sure you use the tag introduceyourself. This will help give your steeming a better start. Spend a bit of time on it with some nice images of your work and what you will be bringing to steemit. Check mine out to get some ideas. I can proof read it for you before you post.
Also tag your house making posts with homesteading and maker. It is important to choose the correct tags which are popular and interact with people in those communities.
