Bella Dearest

In 1770, there was a family of four, the Belhamers. There was Alfred Belhamer the father, Pauline Belhamer the mother and finally Annie and Bella the 2 twins. The Belhamers were a wealthy family, and very popular amongst the town. Annie and Bella were inseparable, they were identical twins and felt the need to act like mirrors. They ate the same food, shared the same toys, slept in identical beds, woke up and went to bed at the same time. Some said they were the same person. Since Bella was born a couple seconds before Annie, many churchgoers believed that god made the perfect child and the devil sent an imposter to act as Bella and take part in the family’s wealth. Annie, though identical to her sister, became the disgrace of the town. At the age of 6, Annie began to hate her sister. All the attention that her sister received made Annie feel awful. When Annie confronted her sister 2 years later, they had grown apart. Bella had all the friends and popularity whistle Annie had nothing. Bella told Annie to get over it, she told her that they were no longer twins and that Annie was simply a faded reflection. One day on the first day of summer, that year. Bella went out with her friends to the lake for a couple hours. Annie asked if she could join and Bella told her that she could but could not talk to her or her friends. Later in the day Bella’s friends stepped out of the lake for some water. Bella who enjoyed the water, stayed in the lake. When no one was paying attention Annie got in the water and swam over to her sister. In a fit of rage Annie pulled Bella below the surface. Annie held her there until Bella stopped kicking and the bubbles stopped. Annie, after realizing what she had done, screamed a horrific trauma filled scream. Catching the attention of Bella’s friends, they begin to run towards the lake. Annie had dragged Bella’s lifeless body to the shore. On her knees, Annie turn to the rest of the children and said “This is Annie, she couldn’t swim… She drowned….”. The friends who could not tell the difference between the body and the weeping girl, had no choice but to believe her. Annie went on with her life impersonating Bella and telling everybody that Annie had died in a terrible swimming accident. After Annie had died at the age of 16 in a house fire. Bella, post mortem and in the spiritual world has decided to do what her sister did. She takes the form of who you love the most and uses them to drive you insane eventually turning you to suicide. She tends to leave water wherever she goes because of her liquid filled lungs. She takes over her victims soul through mirrors. Because she is merely a reflection.
