Indoor LED FOOD GARDEN

This log links to previous posts a little..
So after i grew out the second generation of spindally lettuce a grow and breed in a clandestine fashion, i collected a few choice plants from the outside garden to boost indoors.

First is a really cool purple kale that does not do very well in the outdoor garden. The green variety I have previously logged outdoors does do a little better against the crickets and other bugs.. but when the slugs come to eat, a flourishing purple kale will end up on deaths bed by the morning.

It has started to respond to the indoor lights after about 24 hours with new growth, I am a little unprepared and do not have water trays underneath all the plants yet.

Its cool how the uv spectrums in the LED grow lights hit the leaves ..

From what i have learned gardening indoors and outdoors as a hobby over the years is that the amount of organization involved in growing food on any scale is surprising. to keep a garden clean is near impossible for the lazy gardener..

Also got a cool yellow capsicum planty cranking out flowers after 24 hrs indoors!
