Hello SPIers, Just an update on how things are going on the SPinvest curation front. To get you up to speed. We pulled all delegations from leo.voter across all SPinvest projects a few weeks back to start earning from curation instead. This decision was made for a factor of reasons but the result is we regain control of our HP. Rewards are more consistent, on time and hold value better.
Which Accounts does this include?

A few weeks ago I removed all delegations and waited 5 days for the cooldown. While waiting I removed all autovotes and stopped following all curation trails for the accounts above. By the time the 5 days were finished, all the above accounts had 100%VP. Finally, I had all the above accounts follow the @eds-vote curation trails including a personal account with over 100k HP.
From there, I created an Excel sheet to input the amount of HP being used for curation from each account. After adding a few formulas, we can see what each account should earn from curation, HP inflation and the amounts we need to power down.
This most recent Sunday at 0.05 am, I started power-downs from all the above accounts for the amounts highlighted in red. Now we know exactly what each project will make from its undelegated HP for the next 13 weeks.

These 2 accounts have around 280k HP and we will withdraw the full amount of curation and inflation earned.eddie-earner
My guess is much of this will be re-powered up as EDS has close to 1000 HIVE a week incoming and only 300 HIVE a week outgoing.dailydab
Much the same as EDS where alot will be re-powered up. Not as much as EDS but at least half.

That is the update, we all understand how earning from curation works. It feels strange that HP curation is the best solid APY on HIVE for HP delegations. Remember when we could get 18-20% for leasing HP all day long back in the day. Anyways, HIVE curation is up from 8 to 10% in the past few months and then we get 3% on top for inflation. The cherry on top we not earning a token that is dropping in value against HIVE.
Im looking forward to less work and more consistent rewards.
