I seem to be locked out of my Hive wallet - my passwords no longer work. It's the same account that I had on Steemit for 3 years.
I can log in using my Keystore password on Hivesigner, but when I go to my wallet and try to transfer a small amount of Hive, I find that none of my passwords work.
I know they are the right ones, because they are the ones I used to set up my Keystore password, and I've used them without any problems up to yesterday afternoon.
I tried signing in via Hive.blog, but none of my passwords would work. Has my account been frozen? I have a "backup password", but I don't know how to use it.
I recently set up another Hive account, and I wonder if this is how the problem started - maybe the system was confused by two different accounts being accessed from the same device.
The reason I've been trying to transfer a small amount of Hive, is because my other account, which is called Imagining Freedom, is unable to post because it does not have enough Resource Credits.
I have quite a lot of Hive in my Natubat account, and I'm really scared that I might lose it if my passwords have somehow been disabled. I am absolutely certain that I'm using the same ones that I got when I moved over from Steemit and activated my Hive account.
I know something's not right, as I can log in using my Keystore password, yet when I then go to my wallet and try to transfer 20 Hive, the Hivesigner box pops up and asks me for my Keystore password, only this time when I enter it, I get a message saying that it's incorrect.
The only option then is to enter my master or active password, but I am told that they too are incorrect. They are the only ones I have!
I'd love to know if there's a discussion group on any medium for problems like these.
Any help on this would be very gratefully received!
