The purpose of this post is to meet the contribution requirements of participatory projects conducted by @HiveEurope, the Internet of Ideas (@innovations) and SolidarityWorld (@solidarity). It is a guide for iAmeAI users and contributors to SolidarityWorld or the Internet of Ideas who wish to use the Hive application to participate in members' projects, but also to collect their rewards. In the near future, I will provide an updated tutorial with a user-friendly wallet supporting the Hive app among others directly on iAmeAI.

Using Hive to contribute to @Solidarity World and the @iAmeAI participatory platform.

Introduction

Thanks to contributions such as HiveSQL, HiveAuth, Hive.net or Keychain, the Hive blockchain is a good way to start with cryptocurrencies and blockchain for both insiders and beginners. As of now iAmeAI can be used with Hive thanks to Keychain. In the near future, it will even be possible to use your Hive account directly without the need to create your own account on iAmeAI. This guide will help you connect your iAmeAi account to Hive to use it as a wallet. This is the final step in getting your account to earn your rewards.

Hive Quick Tour

Hive is different from most blockchains. It has three native assets: Hive, HBD (Hive Backed Dollar), HP (Hive Power which provides decision-making power and voting) and it uses usernames instead of public addresses. These accounts have different keys associated with different roles (owner, active, display and memo). Each role can contain a different key. To protect your Hive account, it is recommended that you replace your owner key with your device key, which will prevent you from giving away your private key by mistake.

Having a Hive account

To create a Hive account I recommend you to go to ecency.com or blocktrades, two platforms I'm used to use and that have proven to be reliable so far.

Use the link above to register for a free account. The procedure is simple and fast, but it is possible that your request will not be approved due to the daily quota of new accounts that can be created via this post.

If you are signing via @ecency do not hesitate to put @hiveeurope @solidarity @globalschool or my account @jnmarteau as referred user. I'll take the time to help recover your account in case of lost.

Blocktrades team is really hands on support and kind people ! I am highly recommending, forthermore you can ask to save your key via them if needed to ;-)

How to associate your iAmeAI account with your Hive account?

Nothing could be easier, you just need to download the Keychain extension which will serve as a keychain to connect and sign your interactions from one decentralized platform to another.

Once you have configured Keychain, you just have to publish via iAmeAI and your post will automatically be published on Hive for feedback and contribution from the active community.

Where to find your wallet

Find Your account icon on the top right corner and click on it. Then select the option Wallet as on the image below

Each Hive account has a wallet. Once logged into your Hive account find your wallet here

How to receive Hive or HBD

Each publication made via iAmeAI or directly on Hive will allow you to receive the 3 types of currencies mentioned above according to the members' votes.

After 7 days you can claim the rewards for your posts.

How to transfer Hive to another account

Go to your wallet, in the section that corresponds to the currency you want to transfer to another account click on send.

Select payment recipient

Define the amount you want to transfer

Add a memo

Recap : In the window on the right indicate the name of the recipient's account and in the next section select the amount to transfer. Once this is done, you will also be able to define a memo, this is a kind of communication like at the bank, this will allow ultimate transparency and clarity on your transactions, then click on continue.

Then you'll see in your transaction history the effectiveness of the transaction.

How to delegate power to another account

Just like for HBD or Hive currency transfers you can delegate (or receive delegation). The principle is pretty much the same as for transactions.

How to collect interest

Hive allows you to earn 20% interest on the amount you save. This is an opportunity that is not available everywhere. Once a deposit has been made, you will need a minimum of 3 days to recover the amounts deposited.
