Greetings to everyone and my heart felt appreciation for the many people in here who are tentatively holding the fort.
I want to quickly share with everyone, parent and teachers inclusive a subtle method I employed to teach the toddlers around me colours. I call it my playful colouring hack.
I recently downloaded a game from the Google Play store called "Bubble sort puzzle" and it's very easy for both children and adults.
A beautiful Saturday morning came and I launched the app of my phone, then proceeded to play the game. I had a toddler around me who is aged 3 and I noticed how keenly he was staring at the phone so I thought it won't be out of place to maximize the opportunity.
I handed over the device to him and asked him to identify different colours and to ensure that each jar is filled with balls of the same colours.
I went ahead to teach him the names of each colour and he grasped it effortlessly 🥰
I love that I could infuse technology into different levels of teaching. I love teaching,it's indeed a noble profession.
