Remarkably! Today was a hectic day because the long awaited batch of the day old birds came in today. Little I was able to get prepared before their arrival aside that I was able to renovate the floor surface and did some patches up, nothing more was done. Even the canopies that heavy wind has blown were still there.
I woke up early today to fix some things like covering the floor surface with litter materials (sawdust to be precised) and mix their anti-stress in a clean water, then shared it down to their drinkers. This is basically for the birds to regain their strength because of the long journey they passed through. While I was doing that, I got a called from the distribution that he had arrived at our meeting point. I had to dashed out not to keep him waiting.
I didn't stay long before I came back, though I had some dispatch like 200 other birds that was the reason for my punctuality. After I have done that, the next thing was to start offloading the day old birds to start their new life in my pen. No casualty, everything was 100 percent.
As you can see in the pictures above, they are really active and settling in well. Nothing much to do than to start observing their mobility and restrain them from unnecessary injuries that might lead to mortality.
