Not Willing To Stay Under. #iucontest 06

I have grown up to know that life is a challenge that must be faced. It must be faced because turning back could mean death. Death in the sense that you could exist without possible impact. One could actually be living and walking down the lane but the next door neighbor doesn't notice that he exists. So to really live, there must be committed effort to pull down everything that wants to limit you.

Life is a race that must be run. You must arise, join the race and run it with intentional effort to win. Losing could mean being dropped down by the sideline. Waiting for others while they are running would only equate to wasting precious time. The beautiful thing about this race is that it is not a direct competition. You run your own and I run my own. Each of us gets to win as we successfully complete our course.

Life is a war that must be fought. In this war if you are not ready to fight, you will end up being the one victimized. We have to keep our space. We fight to win our desires. We fight to survive and succeed. Life is a war that must be fourth.

Waking up to these realities early enough will help one to have a meaningful life. To do this we all need motivation. We need inspiration. We have these inspiration and motivation everywhere around us. Just as we have the confrontation and limitations, the motivation and inspiration are everywhere around. When we set our eyes on the troubles we lose sight of the inspiration that would have helped us to jump past the obstacles.

This is the sixth week of the #iucontest. The prompt is for you to share our inspirational sources and factors. You are free to share yours through this link

Not Willing To Be Victimized

Many times I have made decisions that my husband thought were shameful and demeaning. I took such decisions because I had no option but to do that. I have kill my pride when it comes to looking for help. I shamelessly approach those who can help me and ask for help. I refuse to look at anyone who might laugh at me or mock me. I motivate myself because all my life has always placed one challenge or the other in my hand. Like a popular story in the Bible where four lepers said: ā€œwhy sit we here till we dieā€. I refuse to die with the limitation before me. I would mind what trouble I might cause you but if I consider that you have the capacity to help me, I will sure trouble you. Keeping quiet could mean dying there; and I don't want to die there so I get and shout out.

If They Can Do It, I Too Can Do It

When I look at what others have achieved in whatever area it applies to me, I tell myself: ā€œI can do it!ā€ I refuse to stop where my inability wants me to stop. I press on to learn what I do not know and I strive to acquire what I do not have. I am motivated by the fact that someone has done this before so I push up to win my own slot.

I Learn From What I Hear

I learn from everything that passes before me. I learn from the tapping people tap me at the back; I equally learn from the insult they hail on me for inefficiency. I wouldn't want to be a failure twice. I learn from everything that comes my way. When I am appreciated I take note of that and keep up that track. If I am abused for not doing well.enough, I take correction and try to work things out so that those who looked down on me could look up to me. I take my motivation from every reaction I receive from others.

I Believe In Myself

I believe in myself and in my ability to be the person I want to be. I believe that I have an inert ability to achieve what I want to achieve. I believe that no matter the challenges before me I can always overcome them. I always look at life problems and limitations as motivators for excellence and greatness.
