La navidad es mi época favorita del año, me encanta comprar nuevos adornos y decorar mi hogar, visitar los centros comerciales, plazas y calles adornadas y por supuesto disfrutar de la comida que sólo se prepara en esos días, lo único que no me agrada es la pirotecnia y el efecto que tiene en los animales, y también de estar pendiente que mis mascotas no rompan algún adorno.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year, I love buying new decorations and decorating my home, visiting the malls, squares and decorated streets and of course enjoying the food that is only prepared on those days, the only thing I don't like is fireworks and the effect it has on animals, and also to be aware that my pets do not break any decorations.
Debo tener mucho cuidado ya que compartir con cinco gatos en un apartamento puede ser muy estresante en esta época porque pueden hacer desastres, como efectivamente lo hicieron Fifo y Maxim correteando por el apartamento unos años años atrás, que tumbaron el árbol de navidad y rompieron la base, recuerdo que estaba triste pensando que me iba a quedar sin árbol pero menos mal que pudimos arreglar la base, parece que aprendieron la lección porque no ha vuelto ocurrir.
I have to be very careful since sharing an apartment with five cats can be very stressful at this time because they can cause disasters, as Fifo and Maxim did running around the apartment a few years ago, knocking down the Christmas tree and breaking the base, I remember that I was sad thinking that I was going to be left without a tree but luckily we were able to fix the base, it seems that they learned their lesson because it has not happened again.
Algo que también sucede enseguida coloco el árbol y pongo el pie de árbol es que se acuestan sobre él, les encantan dormir allí sobretodo a Rayita y Fifo, tanto que no puedo poner ningún regalo debajo del árbol.

Tenerlos a ellos alegran aún más las navidades pero algo que me da mucha tristeza es verlos asustados cada vez que suena un estallido de algún cohete, corriendo para esconderse debajo de la cama, la más afectada con esto si duda alguna es Chispita que tiembla toda asustada debajo del árbol y hasta deja de comer por varios días, ojalá seamos conscientes del daño que se hace y tomemos medidas para solucionarlo.
Having them makes Christmas even more happy but something that makes me very sad is seeing them scared every time a rocket explodes, running to hide under the bed, the most affected by this is without a doubt Chispita who trembles all scared under the tree and even stop eating for several days, hopefully we are aware of the damage that is done and take steps to fix it.
