Socially Acceptable, Politically Correct .:. Walk & Talk Series

I know some of you like these walk and talk videos, but lately, I'm doing them very rarely... I have noticed that the last one was in December 2023! The type of content (and context) inside these videos are similar to my written version of the "Late Night Blogging" series, but as this is a video material that I'm doing in "one cut", you get additional value... 😂 My "raw opinions", emotions, without "editing" and "softening"... 😃

Summer is coming (already come), and I have decided to switch my daily walks from late afternoon and evening to the morning... It is much more pleasant to walk while the sun isn't frying everything...

It was only 9 AM when I recorded this video, but I was already ready for another rant... 😃 You will notice that during the recording of the video, my level of pissing off was growing, until the moment that I began to stutter... 😃

I like my freedom... But, am I really free? Can I do whatever I want to do? Can I go wherever I want to go? Am I equal to someone from North America, China, or Australia? Are there differences, and why?? Those questions were bothering me and I had to vent out... I tried to go back in time, to find out why we are where we are... I have tried to focus on freedom of movement, especially after reading stories from people who want to come to #HiveFest2024, but they have to "ask for permission" to get IN (or OUT) from the country!

That reminds me of my first years in school... When I would have to go to the toilet during the class, and I had to ask my teacher for permission... Are we 7-year-old children or adults? We need a special paper, called a passport to travel from one place to another... And if our political leader of our country doesn't behave well, we have to ask for "one paper more" to travel (VISA)...

I dived deeper into that sphere and was free enough (this is Web3 and you can't ask questions about everything... Lucky us!) to talk about it... To figure out how this piece of paper went into law and got socially accepted as a "good routine" all around the globe... I have to admit that I did additional research AFTER recording the video too, and found out that some of the things that I said aren't 100% true, as a passport, in a different form was "invented" much earlier... But, they were standardized between two world wars, and only 50-60 years ago!

During World War I, European governments introduced border passport requirements for security reasons, and to control the emigration of people with useful skills. These controls remained in place after the war, becoming a standard, though controversial, procedure. British tourists of the 1920s complained, especially about attached photographs and physical descriptions, which they considered led to a "nasty dehumanisation".

What would this place look like without passports? How would it be if we wouldn't limit freedom of movement of people? Would that destroy our societies around the world? Some people would take our jobs? I would like to hear your opinion about these things, but firstly, check out the short video I'm sharing here and leave a comment...

Are we REALLY free or are we living in an illusion? This one question can create a whole snowball reaction in your brain... We must question things around us, as these "socially acceptable" things aren't always in our best interest! People are often manipulated to accept them, because of standard tools, fear, and anger... And, often, some solutions are outdated, but still "sold" as the ONLY solution! We can do better!

Thank you for your time.
