Nothing is lost until your mom can't find it...

I heard so many times in my home that something was lost and can't be found, but then I switched on the superpowers that every mom possesses and voila - the lost thing was found. Sometimes it takes longer, and other times it is just a question of minutes or seconds so I know where the object is. It shifts from the world of non-existing items to the normal world that we know.

However, there are things that even a mother can't find. Let's be honest, we can write off that stuff then. Officially announce that the item we are searching for doesn't exist anymore.

This is what happened with the charger of the Xiaomi band 5 that my son doesn't use anymore. He changed the phone a few months ago, so this band doesn't match anymore the brand of the new phone. It sleeps somewhere on a shelf, in a box, unused.

I mentioned to him some weeks ago that I could use it and seems that he was willing to give it away to me. I would have a Mi Band (lol - matching my hive username :D ) but one little detail, it doesn't work if not charged and the last time it happened... a few months ago.

The search for the charger started, as of course, it was not in its box. Why it wasn't there? We don't know. 😁

Cables and more cables appeared in the drawers. All drawers, shelves and corners were checked, and no, the Mi Band charger was not found. This is just a small amount of chargers for old phones, gadgets, and earbuds that we came across. Maybe just the tenth part of all of them having a deep sleep in the apartment.

Speaking about the old phones and chargers for them seen in the previous photos.

Do you remember those old Nokia phones, whose batteries lasted for several days? Well, I don't have the oldest model, the most famous one that looked like a brick, but I do have a bit newer and smaller ones. The phone with the blue details on it, on the right in the next image... I think it was more or less 15 years ago I had it. I remember that I have used it for several years, even photos could be already taken with it hahaha. Oh, and I suppose it had at least two games, not just the Nokia snake game 😂

These phones don't work anymore, I don't know why we still have them? But the thing is that I found them while searching for the Mi Band charger...

...which didn't want to appear.

The search for it started two days ago but with no success. The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is still lying peacefully, without signs of life. If it can't be charged, obviously it can't be used either.

Seems that I will not monitor my heart rate, nor count my activity and steps. Neither I will use the option of reminders, notifications, or finding my phone if lost. I will calmly keep on living without it, but damn, why I can't find that charger?

The only explanation is that it doesn't exist anymore.
Now I will eat one - or probably two pieces of the Christmas cake and go out to take a walk, without my steps being counted :D
