Durban Violette, Pineapple Express, and Fog OG have all moved to bloom mode, the Apricot Kush seedling is growing quickly.
Durban Violette
After five weeks of indoor growth, the Durban Violette cannabis plant was moved outside to the greenhouse. Three weeks later it looks like the plant is going into bloom mode.
I wasn't anticipating this plant to bud until mid-September, when the daylight is only twelve hours per day, but the shift from 24hrs per day of indoor light and warmth to partially shaded 15hrs of light per day was enough to make the plant think the season was coming to an end. You can see the pair of translucent pistils in the picture below.
It's for the best really, if it didn't start bloom until mid-September, then it would have struggled to finish budding in the low light and temperatures of mid-November.
The plant was topped a couple weeks ago to slow the upward main stalk growth, two new stalks grew up in it's place.
Strong stem growth, the plant has bushed out nicely with the branches quickly growing upwards. It's looking like another eight weeks until harvest, if it stays in bloom mode.
Pineapple Express
The Pineapple Express plant has had eight weeks of vegetative growth and almost two weeks of bloom mode, eight or nine weeks until harvest.
You can see a translucent pistil pair in the above picture. A lot of the older leaves are looking dried out, I'm suspecting one of my vegetative lights need to be higher, in the bloom tent the leaves seem to be happier.
A decent amount of cola stalks on this plant, the top was tied down to the ground during veg to promote upwards branch growth. It doesn't seem to be as vigorous grower as the Pink Apricot, but I'm looking forward to the Pineapple Express bud sampling.
Fog OG auto
The Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant is in it's fifth week of growth - auto strains automatically go into bloom mode after a few weeks, for a total of ten weeks from sprout to harvest.
This auto seemed a little slower to go into bloom, or possibly I didn't notice the signs earlier, but it seems to have gone into bloom this past week.
Lots of branches have grown into stalks, the tops all have that start of budding look to them. I've switched the led lights from a blue to red spectrum to further promote and support budding, it's looking like another eight weeks for this plant until harvest.
Apricot Kush
The Apricot Kush seedling has had two weeks of growth with impressive growth this past week.
Additional leaf sets have grown in, the leaves have grown larger and have a healthy look to them. Grown from a non feminized seed, this plant could end up producing buds or pollen, I'll move this plant to bloom mode in four weeks.
