Update 15 (Big Mack Superstar & Miracle Mack) & More!

Good morning growing enthusiasts! Welcome back to another grow blog. I missed my weekly update yesterday because I been crazy busy with everything that's going on. I really have too many hobbies and not enough time in a day.😂

Yesterday was week 17 of the BMS and MM grow. Last weekend the mama's got put in the ground at their new home. My son helped me dig the holes and plant the girls at night time as that was the best time to transport them without any attention drawn to what I was doing.

I went back in the morning to see how they took and they looked like the were wilted a bit. So I gave them some more water and took some pictures. It was very hard getting the root balls out of the fabric pots so if I ever do that again I will make sure I start them in regular pots so I don't harm the roots.

The Miracle Mack is about 4 feet tall and and is really bushy. I plan on going to see the plants this weekend and hopefully they took to the great soil they are at.

The digging was probably the easiest I have ever dug in as it was used to grow veggies in not too long ago. It's my son's first outdoor grow, and he learned it's not all fun and games when growing! He was "whooped" as he said when we were done. I told him he could have a couple plants because he helped me and he was very excited! I hope to pass on the knowledge I have about growing to him. He's not only my son, but he's also my best friend.

The Big Mack Superstar looked a bit more wilted than the MM but I know with these past days of rain we've had they should be good. She is almost as tall as the MM. I put down some Mittleider nutrients, some slug bait as the slugs and snails get bad around here and I wrapped each plant at the base with some copper wire.

These three are the Miracle Mack clones I took. I still have more clones to put out but they weren't ready yet. I grouped the strains together so when harvest comes I won't get confused of what they are. You can see the copper wire a bit better with the clones.

I have five BMS in this group and they are looking good! You can see the MM mama in the background of this picture.

On to the indoor.

I bought some camera lenses for the smartphone that @futuremind had told me about. I started playing around with some of them but the pics will be better once they start to bud and start to show their trichs.

These girls are the Northern Lights growing in my self watering tubs I made and they are almost to the point where they will be looking for water at the bottom of the tubs.

The detail these lenses show is incredible and can't wait to take some frosty nug pics! The second picture was taken with the flash and I think they look better without the flash.

I took the first clone from the tall NL. I plan on taking one from the other one this weekend and when ready they too will go to their new homes along side the others.

The auto's I'm doing I think I messed up on. I brought them outside a bit early and the sun did a number on their little leaves. I think I may have killed them but they are still going for now. I went and bought more and started them in the clone dome. I'm not keen on autos as they are very finicky but I thought I'd give them a go again.

My first experience with them didn't go so good as I had no idea how to grow them at the time and tried to scrog them out. They were stunted because of it and only produced small buds which turned me off from auto's. The best way I've found to grow them is the treat them like a Ronco, set em and forget em. The least you do to them the better.

It's hard to see through the dome but there is four auto's and one NL clone so far. I plan on taking as many clones from the NL as I can handle for the outdoor grow.

You can see the newly bought lenses in this picture and I am glad I got them! It should bring up my photo game! We'll see..

Well that's it for this weeks blog and I hope you all create your desired day!

Until next time, keep growing my friends!
Peace ✌️
