In Romania it is now the second day of Christmas, a day we spend with the family, and from tomorrow we go back to work for a few days, after which we take a break again for the party between the years.
We decided to go for a walk together today through the pictures attached here at the Christmas market in Oradea Bihor county.
Bihor County is the neighboring county to the one where I live and Oradea is the most beautiful city here, the distance and time to get here is not so long around two and a half hours, that's how long it takes to get here.
I've seen online only good reviews about this location decorated especially for Christmas days, so hop sin oi here.
The center was very crowded and I hardly managed to find a parking place for my car, but visiting this place is worth every effort.
We took it slow on the pedestrian streets, yes, there are some streets here that have been closed to car traffic and the only ones allowed to use them are pedestrians and those beautifully colored trains, where for a fee you can take a tour of the city (a worthwhile experience).
Right from the entrance you are greeted by the smell of mulled wine with the aroma of cinnamon and orange.
Being somewhere around 2pm we were lucky it wasn't so crowded here, I'm sure if we were there in the evening it would be very crowded.
We got a bit lost among the stalls with lots of goodies, we saw here something ingenious, these people have turned an entire coach into a restaurant on wheels.
Also here we could see a very big wheel, and what else is special about this town, it has a church with a moon.
I had the best pumpkin apple pie ever.
