[Photography Lovers] Introduction and a sample photo.

Hey all,

I just discovered this community and seems to be exactly what I was looking for: a place to post my photos and meet like-minded people.

A little about me: I'm an analog photographer from Romania.
I love street photography which I think is, right now, the truest form of photography in the sense that the dynamism and quickness is so important and unique that it makes it valuable. It also says a lot about our life today. A good street photographer can expose a lot about a community, a city or day to day life. I am trying to do this as well, following the steps of the greats. But, I am just starting and by using an analog camera it means I don't take as many photos as maybe I should. However, the benefit of taking more carefully planned photos instead of mindless pushing the shutter button is worth it for me.

But I also always look for the quirky, the unexpected or an opportunity to create a photographic moment. You'll see a lot of various styles and ideas in my posts here and I hope with your feedback and everything that I can pinpoint more of what is exactly that I want to say. Finding the elusive "voice".

I think I have about 6 months since I've started to take this seriously but I no way feel that I am anything but a noob, a rookie, at the first position on my roll. I hope I'll grow and evolve..and I hope this community will help. I don't know any other way to grow but to: practice, practice, practice and discuss with people. The feedback+the feel a master can make.

On my blog you can also read a new series about why I chose analog vs digital..I am not sure if I should post that in this community as well as seems to be a more introspective kind of post but if you want to check it out and tell me what you think I'd be grateful :)

Finally, any input on how I could help the most here and what is my role as a new member of the community? So far I think actually curating and commenting would be good start. Looking forward to your suggestions and comments here and to meet you all.

Thank you!

Attaching a photo I am proud of from an earlier roll of Tri-x. One of those serendipitous first half burned position. What should we name this?
