Life goes on, is a popular saying and indeed it does. But in the meantime, there are many trials and tribulations that we have to cope with.
A scene of pure innocence, as the little laughing dove found a stem in our granadilla fence for her nest.
I wonder how many of us thought that tomorrow everything would be well, and then we sadly burnt our fingers as big problems started to appear. We have much experience of this due to the work that we do. Take for instance this little dove. Doves are a symbol of peace, but in real life they suffer the same way that we do.
I will show you below what I mean.
Look how peaceful this little one below looks.
And then she was off to her nest, but unbeknownst to her, she will have to face a great trial.
Look what was circling above, high up, in the sky.
This is a nest-raider Harrier Hawk, keeping an eye on that little dove's movements.
As nature would have it, a Pied Crow came up out of nowhere to chase the harrier hawk away.
You can see that the harrier hawk was very aware of the crow.
And finally, they flew off into the distance.
And then the day came to an end at sunset.
After our lengthy Covid shut-downs nationwide, so many have not recovered from the unexpected effects of the virus. One day their businesses were doing well, and the next day a total shutdown. All of a sudden, the small businesses started closing down due to no income and general mayhem ensued, with many people losing everything that they had worked for their whole lives.
Just like that little dove, we also go through life unaware of the dangers. But we also have a force that protects us very much the same as it did for that little dove. Somehow, we always seem to conquer the setbacks, but many of us don't and that is one reason why we have so many people sleeping on the streets over here. One day their lives were going well, and then a harrier hawk ripped their lives apart.
Such is life.
