Killer bedbug - Rhynocoris rubricus [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, dear friends of the community and photography lovers, how are you feeling? I am well and I hope you are too. I have already commented on other occasions how much I like to go out to the patio of my house to take pictures of anything that catches my attention, especially the insects that from time to time visit the plants there and this time I want to share with you some pictures of an insect that was quite striking, it was on some plants and due to its reddish color it was hard not to notice it. I hope you like the pictures.

Saludos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, ¿cómo se encuentran? Yo estoy bien y espero que ustedes también. Ya he comentado en otras ocasiones lo mucho que me gusta salir al patio de mi casa para hacer fotografías a cualquier cosa que llame mi atención, en especial a los insectos que de vez en cuando visitan las plantas que hay allí y en esta ocasión quiero compartirles algunas fotografías de un insecto que era bastante llamativo, se encontraba en unas plantas y debido a su color rojizo era difícil no notarlo. Espero que les gusten las fotografías.

Although in the pictures you can see that it was big, it was really a small insect, that's why I had to use the Zoom to the maximum. I was quite lucky that its movement was very slow. I would say that, from the moment I started taking pictures of it until I finished, it did not move relatively much on the branch it was on, although I suppose it was just resting there. What I did find quite curious is that underneath where this one was, there were two smaller ones, you can see them in one of the pictures and I thought it was kind of cute.

Aunque en las fotografías se pueda apreciar que era grande, realmente era un insecto pequeño, por eso tuve que utilizar el Zoom al máximo. Tuve bastante suerte de que su movimiento era muy lento. Diría que, desde el momento que empecé a hacerle las fotografías hasta que terminé, no se movió relativamente tanto en la rama que se encontraba, aunque también supongo que solo estaba ahí descansando. Lo que sí me pareció bastante curioso es que debajo de donde se encontraba este, había otros dos más pequeños todavía, los podrán apreciar en una de las fotografías y me pareció algo lindo.

Taking into account that the insect was not moving so much, I could make a good focus in each photograph, but I had to help me without doubt the built-in flash of my camera, lately I am taking advantage of it in most of my photos, I feel that it allows me to squeeze a little more to have the sharpness I want and also clearly to have a photograph exposed in a balanced way. For the edition of the photographs I darkened a little the green of the plants, this to generate a contrast and take advantage of the complementary color between green and red, which, being very honest, I quite liked the final result, undoubtedly highlights the main protagonist in all the photos.

Al tener en cuenta que el insecto no se movía tanto, pude hacer un buen enfoque en cada fotografía, pero tuve que ayudarme sin duda del flash incorporado de mi cámara, últimamente lo estoy aprovechando en la mayoría de mis fotos, siento que me permite exprimir un poco más el tener la nitidez que quiero y también claramente para tener una fotografía expuesta de una manera equilibrada. Para la edición de las fotografías oscurecí un poco el verde de las plantas, esto para generar un contraste y aprovechar el color complementario entre el verde y el rojo, lo cual, siendo muy sincero, me ha gustado bastante el resultado final, sin duda destaca el protagonista principal en todas las fotos.
