Waking up everyday is we all know it’s a gift given from God’s above. Looking up and comparing the life we are having is what we consider ourselves lucky; To be able to breathe, to see and to move. However, we don’t know what life awaits and what life might be. Even so, being appreciative is, I guess, enough to be thankful in life.
A happy birthday is not determined by what you have food to serve or what food you can have. Rich or poor, a healthy body is, I think, plenty to celebrate a birthday with happiness. Abundance does not always favor us but do not forget, if you plant something there will always be a time for a day of harvest. I hope you understand that if you don’t have one now, it doesn’t mean you won’t have something tomorrow.
Maturity sometimes doesn't follow with the age of a person. It’s not a person’s age that can determine how she/he thinks or understand the flow of life. It can sometimes be through experience and through the environment. If you think you’re not old enough right now. Or maybe if you’d ever think you’re not normal because of your indifferent way of thinking in spite of the age. Don’t be hard on yourself, there will always be a time for what comes to happen.
So, - - - - be happy, think of the “happy birthday” greetings that will influence you to be grateful for your day today. It’s okay to let loose because you are just happy since it’s your birthday. But don’t get wild, don’t act like it’s the end of your day. Most birthday wishes are “to have a long life”, so keep it mind that despite the happenings you’re feeling right now. Be still mindful of your actions based on your emotions. A day full of happiness is not measured with food and liquors. It is about having a family and friends you can be with and of course a healthy life.

Paul was born in Macrohon, Southern Leyte but currently living in Cahayag, San Francisco Southern Leyte. He graduated the course of a BS Mar-E or Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering in 2019. Although writing is his passion so instead of sailing he decided on writing.
