A ride like this doesn't come along every day
When I heard on the news that two days ago in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia, there will be an attraction Christmas trip with the oldest locomotive, I thought only one thing: GRAB YOUR CAMERA AND LEAVE!
You can see that the sky in the pictures is different. This is because the weather was overcast but with a terrible burning light that burnt my shot. I chose to change the sky to make the shots interesting. I don't like such decorations, but in this case I just had to because of the historical event I was able to photograph.
I even managed to fly the drone over them all and get a shot. When the TV reporters saw my flying drone, they freaked out. I admit, it was a brave flight... There were people and wires everywhere.
*WHY WAS THIS INTERESTING TRIP TAKEN?
The Metropolitan Municipality decided to delight the residents of the city by launching its oldest working locomotive as an attraction retro train ride to a small town located 30 minutes away. Gifts were distributed to the children in the carriages. There was even a Santa Claus. Enough with the romance. All this pleasure cost people 35 leva, which is about 18 dollars. Yes, there's no denying that the locomotive is really interesting, but they could have come up with something for the wagons as well. Nothing, the children remained happy. I didn't go up because I had to hurry for a boudoir photo session.
Do you want to see her?
The locomotive was manufactured way back in 1908. Shortly before the Titanic sank... I think that such old vehicles must be present in our daily life. The new, as shiny as it is, lacks the romance and flavor of the retro.
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS STORY!
I took the shots with a Canon EOS RP / 85 mm lens and a DJI mini 2 drone
