Yesterday, I did a birthday photoshoot for a client who was about to turn 21. Since it was such a special day for her, she wanted to capture it forever with a studio session.
The girl brought balloons and a cake to the studio to make the photos more birthday-themed. So we started by taking some photos of her standing next to the balloons:
El dia de ayer hice una sesion de fotos de cumpleaños para una cliente que estaba apunto de cumplir 21 años de edad y por ser una fecha especial para ella quería dejarlo plasmado para toda la vida con una sesion de fotos en estudio.
La chica llevó globos y una torta al estudio para hacer las fotos mas tematica a su cumpleaños asi que comenzamos haciendo algunas fotos con ella de pie junto a los globos:
To take all these photos, I used my Canon RP camera with a 50mm f/2.8 lens and a Speedlite flash with a 50cm octabox for the light.
I guided her with the poses throughout the entire shoot, making her feel more comfortable and allowing her to trust my work and enjoy the moment where she was the star!
Then we moved on to the photos with the cake. They turned out super cute! The girl made a gesture of biting the cake that looked really nice and natural.
Para tomar todas estas fotos utilicé mi camara Canon RP con un lente 50mm a 2.8/f y para la luz utilicé mi flash speed lite con un octabox de 50cm.
Yo la estuve guiando con las poses durante toda la sesión de fotos, de esa manera la hacia sentir mas cómoda y ella podía confiar en mi trabajo y disfrutar del momento en donde ella era la protagonista!
Luego procedimos a hacer las fotos con la torta, estas quedaron súper lindas, la chica hizo un gesto de morder la torta que quedó super bonita y natural.

After we were satisfied with the birthday photos, we started taking some without any extra accessories, so the girl could use these photos more casually on any day.
As usual, we started with some standing photos, and at this point, the girl was feeling confident and started doing some poses on her own:
Luego de que nos sentimos satisfechos con las fotografías cumpleañeras empezamos a hacer algunas fotos sin ningún tipo de accesorio extra, así la chica podría usar estas fotos de manera mas casual cualquier día.
Como usual, empezamos por algunas fotos de pie y en este punto la chica ya se sentía en confianza y empezó a hacer algunas poses por si misma:

Honestly, the girl was so beautiful and photogenic that it was impossible for the photos to turn out bad!
