A year not to be wasted - photoshoot in the sun with Holly and Jess (7 images within)

I can't believe that September is nearly over. It's been a hell of a year, and I'm seeing a rebound in demand for my photographic abilities. I've been very busy with life, with a number of menial tasks preventing me from devoting as much time as I'd like to my photographic passions.

This shoot was intended for a boho vibe - and features two people. These people are Holly, who I've shot with very regularly, and the second person is Jess, who is a Make Up Artist, and is the one responsible for most of Holly's exceptional make up in various shoots.

There's not much magic going on in these images - simple use of a Godox AD200 in a 80cm softbox, and a nice location in full sunlight.

There's a pretty clean look I've gone for with these images, with a light editorial style.

I shoot manual, and I've expanded my kit since the last shoot I posted. My kit is now enormous, and any location shoot like this usually ends up with an full car boot of gear, (mostly lighting) in order to achieve professional quality images and completely control the light.

After this shoot, everyone's legs (and lungs) were pretty sore - owing to the horrific pollen count on the day, the uphill slope, and the seven odd kilometres trudged up (and then back down) the hill.

Hope you enjoyed this post. There'll be more to come once I start to get back to normal regime now that life is starting to get back to normal, with more time for me to sit back and relax.

Thanks for stopping by! :)
