Portrait of my mother

Getting to take a single photo of my mom is extremely difficult. She doesn't like it and always shies away.
A few months back, she needed me to take a good amount of pictures of her for a project she was involved in. And so I did.
The day I took this one, she wasn't feeling particularly well. She had a migraine attack, felt unsure. To ease her, I started small talk to try and get her to feel more relaxed. It was a complicated session. The setting was far from ideal. I'm aware I'm not a photographer, let alone a portrait photographer. But I got some decent results.

We have been talking lately about how we look, how we start not liking the way we look as we age, how we avoid being photographed. But five days ago, she told me: "go on, post it. I'm accepting getting old."
The first one is the original edit, months old. The other two are from a couple of days ago.

I took this photo with my Redmi Note 8 and edited it with Snapseed. I used only natural light —and there wasn`t much of it.—
