Autumn is, without a doubt, my favourite season. It is absolutely stunning; you can find beauty nearly everywhere you look. Incredibly colourful... It makes me upset when people will excitedly remark that, "You've never seen snow?! 😱" yet neglect to include the most mesmerizing season of them all...
Take this tree, for example. Again, it's not difficult to find the beauty in autumn -- this tree is situated only a few feet from our front door! 😄 But when the sun hits it, it is beyond amazing... The tree becomes a golden halo of leaves.
A crowded shot, but I really enjoy the array of colours... Different shades of yellow, bright red bush, the way the red berries pop against the golden leaves... Easy to get lost out here! 😄
We saw a lovely stream, where my husband wanted a photo with our youngest daughter (she was already pretty tired, so she wasn't impressed 😅)
Then, of course, our oldest daughter wanted a photo of her own 😄 I took a photo with some gorgeous orange trees behind her...
We happened to dress up our youngest in her Snow White Halloween costume to take some photos. Some university students were dotting the trail with these adorable pumpkins, so it was fortunate for us that we happened to dress her up that day!
This tree caught my eye... I loved the way the leaves were dual-coloured as opposed to one solid colour. These leaves were spliced with vivid red and calming yellow.
The trifecta of the autumn colours: green, yellow, and red. A rare sight to come across! The leaves change so rapidly from day-to-day that it is difficult to capture all of them at once.
Laying down, looking up... A truly peaceful experience...
My husband captured this shot of our oldest with his drone 😊 I love the line of pure yellow trees...
