Minimal and time concious me

For anything to be on my agenda definitely means that it's a thing of importance. I have a customized planner of what my average day looks like beginning from the time I wake up to when I get back in bed for the night. I make sure that what I do in a day, aligns with my priorities especially now in my life where I have to handle school with apprenticeship.

It's something that I've given thoughts over and over again how to handle the two and also have time for myself. Right now I have a customized planner because the braindump plan I did wasn't satisfying at all so I had to get myself a customized planner which helps me put things away in place.

Going to school is something of high priority to me and also getting to complete my apprenticeship is also something of high priority but I can't toggle them both at the same time which caused me to create the customized planner.

How I fit it all in:

I'm a single young student and so I don't have many chores to do apart from doing my laundry, dishes and cleaning my house. When my timer wakes me up in the morning, I make my bed, pick a dress to wear for the day and then clean up my small apartment before doing anything else. That's how I do it to avoid returning home after a long day to start cleaning up instead of taking a shower, reading and going to bed.

Before getting myself a customized planner, I had to go through my school's timetable to be sure of the days I have a series of lectures in the morning and the days I have them later in the day. On those days I don't have lectures in the morning, I attend my apprenticeship program and then later in the day, I go to school. There are days lecturers fix impromptu classes which sometimes lasts for hours taking up the time that I had to attend the apprenticeship program, it's always tough but my education is what really matters to me. When things like the impromptu classes come up, I always put a call through to my boss and explain things. She's a nice and understanding person and doesn't have a problem at all as long as she knows that I always make time to cover for any class I missed.

Did I not mention food, haha, we can't go a whole day without eating something nice no matter how minimal and time conscious we are, I do have light breakfast in the morning before leaving my house and later in the day, whether at school or at work, I squeeze in time to have lunch so as to stay healthy and strong till I have accomplished all day activities. I also try to make sure that I don't return home tired and worn out because I have books to read and sometimes assignments to do.

On my list of agenda, my education and apprenticeship program comes first with their timing on each of them. My phone is very good at reminding me of everything on my list for the day and that timing has really helped a lot.

It's only during the weekend that I have all the time to do laundry, visit my parents, sometimes watch TV, hang with friends and do some fun things to recharge myself for the next week as I'll be going on another journey of solely working with time. Most of my friends complain a lot about me always having something to do during the week but I tell them I'm a minimalist and I manage my time properly because I have a future I'm building and I want it to pay off.

That's all from me, thank you for reading this far. I really appreciate your time. I invite @rlathulerie to join this challenge and share her thoughts too. You can find the prompt idea here
