The everlasting shoe

Greetings!

So recently I've been thinking of adding a pair of leather shoes to my collection for my outings, especially for church because that's one of the main reasons I dress corporate every week and that's because I don't have any official work that demands me dressing like that too.

"Why do you want to change your shoe?" Each time I think of it, this is the only question that pops up and fights my mind because the shoe is still very useful and new. The reason it fights my mind is that I have been having the thought of the shoe being overused and people might have noticed me always coming to church with it, especially with the fact that it was a thrift collection and people might be thinking that I'm poor that's why I've settled with it. This thought, although it sounds funny, it's what creeps into our minds especially when we are a public figure. Oh yeah, I'm an usher in my church who stands with this shoe in the midst of a crowd every week, so my mind is right to think like that.

But then, the shoe is still very fine even though it has been used consistently for five years. I remember when I bought it, I didn't have money so I decided to go to a thrift store to get low-budget ones and quality too because most times, thrift stores have the best leather shoes that can last for a long while. Yeah, it's very recommendable in my part of the world.

This is a shoe that never appeared as a second-hand shoe especially when it's polished with black polish and glittery. No one has ever seen or asked me whether I bought it new or second hand, it's just my heart that came up recently with a little bit of judgemental that I need to change my shoe. Lol.

The shoe fits in properly to all my wears and that's because it looks simple and smart, coupled with the fact that it's all-around black. It's a leather shoe and I use it to match up with casual dresses too and that's because it doesn't have the all-time office look with a big 'cock'(heel tap). It has a very little 'cock' which when used on simple wear, disappears to thin air or let me put it better, the 'cock' crawls back into being flat but when I'm donning a very corporate 'office' wear, it comes out a little to match up the official vibe and maybe all these are just my imaginations.

The shoe fits in well and it has been giving me all-time satisfaction. I just need to chase away the recent idea that's poking my mind to go for a new shoe and stop seeing it as overused because I know it's not crying either.
Maybe when I want to make a change, it's going to be a thrift thing again, to find the exact quality with it.

Thanks for reading.
